Want to explore your creative side? Join a community of like-minded souls and play unapologetically like a kid again? You’re in the right place.
Welcome to our online Creative Escape course. A playful adventure that’s open to all.
Pressure? Perfection? Competition? It’s not our bag. We’re all about creative experimentation, being brave, getting messy and making mistakes. After all, life is serious enough, right?
Join our four-week course and for an hour or so each week, you can play around with a whole load of creative techniques. Think imaginative zines, mindful photography, wordy tomfoolery, printmaking – even a bit of AI adventuring.
And think about doing it all in a lovely cocoon-like environment with people you can laugh with along the way.
Sound good? Sign up and get ready for your weekly dose of playful, creative calm.
What’s the plan?
1.5 hours of creative exploring each week for four weeks. It will go something like this:
Week 1
Mini zine making
Zines make lovely keepsakes and gifts. Today you can play with a range of textures, paints and stamps to create the overall look of your zine.
Next up: adding a narrative. Will it be a lesson, a poem, a love letter, a manifesto, or something else entirely? It’s up to you.
Week 2
Mono printing
Drawing on patterns from a selection of artists, you can craft your own pattern on a poly printing block.
Once you’ve had fun making your block, it’s time to get happy with paint and pens, making beautiful prints that you can place anywhere.
Week 3
An intro to AI art
Artificial Intelligence isn’t some Terminator-like robot of the future, it’s very much here now. And the great thing is you can use it to make art.
In this session you’ll create a pattern by hand, and then use AI to turn it into a filter that you can apply to your own photos. No technical wizardry needed. Just an internet connection and a willingness to play.
Week 4
Mindful photography
The therapeutic abilities of art are well known, but photography has its place too. In this session, we invite you to use your camera or smartphone as a tool for mindfulness.
Using a range of found goodies, you’ll snap your way into the present moment, see objects in a new light – and observe the amazing details of the world around you.
“You had me at mini zine making”
Excellent. Reserve your spot.

What our last group had to say…
“A great opportunity to let go and just play. A chance to forget the realities of everyday life for a while. Thank you!”
“I feel energised and like I’ve stepped out of my head for a bit. I didn’t want it to end.”
“I feel so de-stressed. I really needed the me time. Loved the friendship, banter and laughter.”
Sounds great, but…
My creative side? What creative side?
We honestly believe that everyone is creative. We just might forget it for a while, or lose sight of it along the way. Even if you’re still saying: “sorry, there’s definitely no creativity in my DNA”, come along anyway. This isn’t some fancy fine art class, it’s creative play. And it rocks.
I can’t commit to all four
We’d love it if you could make all six. It’s a chance to play with different techniques and explore where your creativity lies. But we get that life isn’t simple. So if you need to miss out one week, it’s no biggie.
I’m not very technical
The AI and photography sections of our course are designed for everyone, regardless of experience. If you can point and shoot your camera, and navigate your way around a web page, you’re good to go.
